Persero PT Brantas Abipraya was established on November 12, 1980, as an offshoot of the Brantas River Basin Development Executing Office, well known as Brantas Project, which had been engaged in construction of various waterworks e.g. dams and hydroelectric power project, on force account basic, since 1961.

Throughout 18 years of existence the company has satisfactorily completed different kinds of projects and in association with other foreign contractors e.g. Hazama Corporation (Japan) and Elin Union (Austria) etc.

Carrying out its tradition and spirit Persero PT Brantas Abipraya emphasized on quality and meeting deadlines, for the benefit of owners and the nation, while ensuring long term profits and growth for the company.

We are dedicated to attaining these ideals by carrying out of our ability all works entrusted to us.

PT Brantas Abipraya is one of the Stated Enterprises (BUMN) with its mission to do business in the construction industry services. In accordance with the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945), the BUMN is declared to be the business outfit that plays an active role in establishing the growth of the state economy. So the growth of the national economy has always been the background of the development of BUMN.

Being a state enterprises, PT Brantas Abipraya - together with the other BUMN's - has its main objective to be the pioneer in the national economic growth. Hence, it is obligatory that PT Brantas Abipraya should be able to work professionally.

To reach this objective - and also by considering the coming era of globalization that would affect the construction industry, i.e. the strong competition in the marketing of construction industry services in Indonesia - our human resources are paramount importance. Their skill has to be continuously improved so as to be able to work more effectively and efficiently in every aspect of our works, such as planning, job execution as well as supervision and quality control. Our people are strongly encouraged to expand their technological skill to keep abreast with the current trend in the construction industry services that keeps developing in Indonesia, not to mention to the other countries.

Based on the philosophy of togetherness and the spirit to giving the best to our clients and the society, we sincerely hope that the growth of PT Brantas Abipraya will keep increasing now and in the time to come.
